Dr Nathan Bridger Sports and Family Chiropractor

Nathan Bridger

Chiropractor and Strength & Conditioning Coach

Dr Nathan Bridger is a sports chiropractor, strength and conditioning coach, health educator, and the founder of North Fremantle Chiropractic.

Nathan grew up in North Fremantle, so when he opened NFC in February 2020, it wasn't just a business decision, it was coming home. He lives in Fremantle with his wife and two kids, and being a dad is a big part of who he is and how he shows up, both at home and in the clinic. He understands what it means to want to stay healthy, strong, and present for the people who matter most.

His path to chiropractic started as a teenager when significant spinal and shoulder injuries from rugby union sent him looking for answers. The results he got through chiropractic care changed his trajectory and he went on to study at Murdoch University, graduating in 2013 with distinction.

After graduating he worked briefly in Perth before taking on a chiropractic practice in Lima, Peru, where he spent almost two years treating patients and picking up conversational Spanish (his words: "poorly"). He returned to Australia, working in Melbourne and then Geelong, where he became the region's go-to sports chiropractor before returning to his roots in North Fremantle.

Nathan holds dual qualifications as a chiropractor and accredited strength and conditioning coach, a combination that gives him a perspective most practitioners can't offer. He has competed in powerlifting, strongman, and CrossFit, trained for Hyrox, and has provided care for elite athletes across all of these sports and many more. He understands what it means to train hard, compete, and need to get back on the floor fast.

Beyond the clinic, Nathan is a speaker and educator who has presented to health practitioners and performance communities across Australia and internationally. He has served as a clinical supervisor at university level and is the founder of The Launch, a mentoring platform helping chiropractic students and new graduates build practices that are both effective and sustainable.

When he's not in the clinic, you'll find him with his family, on the padel court, or in the gym

Edward atkins

chiropractor

Though most people just call him Ed, chiropractic has been part of his life from an early age, shaping both his career path and his approach to health.

Ed completed his studies at Central Queensland University in Brisbane, before beginning practice in Brisbane and later Far North Queensland. He returned to Perth in late 2024, bringing with him a broad range of clinical experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Ed works with people who want more than just short-term relief. His focus is on improving how the body functions, moves, and performs over the long term. Clinically, he has a strong interest in lower back pain, cervicothoracic dysfunction, and headaches, with an approach centred around spinal support, movement quality, and building long-term resilience.

He works with a wide range of patients, from those managing ongoing pain to busy professionals and active individuals who want to stay moving well. His approach is always tailored to the individual, whether the goal is getting through the workday comfortably or continuing to train and perform at a high level.

Rather than chasing symptoms, Ed looks at the bigger picture, how the body is moving, adapting, and coping with load. Whether someone is trying to get out of pain or push their performance further, the goal is the same: to improve how their body functions long-term.

Outside the clinic, Ed lives what he promotes. He trains daily, regularly runs, and actively participates in CrossFit, alongside competing in HYROX, playing rugby, and spending time diving and outdoors. That background shapes his perspective, he understands the demands of training consistently, staying injury-free, and continuing to perform at a high level.

Torrens Revell

chiropractor

Torrie grew up by the beach in South Fremantle before heading to the U.S. to attend James Madison University, where she graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science. During her time in Virginia, she was a goalkeeper for the university water polo team and traveled the East Coast extensively.

After returning to Perth, Torrie completed a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic at Murdoch University. During her studies, she gained valuable experience providing care at the WA Centre for Rural Health in Geraldton.

This sparked her love for rural communities, leading her to move to Kalgoorlie after graduation, where she worked and lived for two years. While there, Torrie expanded her scope of practice and became an integral part of the community, both as a chiropractor and as a player-coach for the Mines Football Club women's team, helping them secure their first-ever premiership in 2024.

Now back in Fremantle, Torrie is excited to reconnect with her roots and give back to her local community. She is passionate about making healthcare fun and accessible while encouraging a proactive approach to health, combining her love for sports and fitness with chiropractic care.

In her downtime, you’ll find Torrie exercising, drawing, walking her dog Harli along the beach, cheering on the Dockers, or spending time with friends and family.
