Chiropractic Care in North Fremantle:
Our Approach

Helping you move better, feel better and stay doing what you love.

There are a lot of chiropractic clinics in Perth. Here's what makes North Fremantle Chiropractic different.

We have three chiropractors each with a genuine sporting background, a real interest in active health, and a clinical approach built on finding the cause rather than managing the symptom. We combine thorough assessment with hands-on treatment and practical rehabilitation. We explain what's going on in plain language, and we build a plan to fix it not just keep you coming back.

What is chiropractic care?

Chiropractic is a nationally registered, evidence-based healthcare discipline focused on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of musculoskeletal conditions and their effects on the nervous system.

In Australia, chiropractors complete a minimum of five years of university training and are registered with AHPRA. Chiropractic is drug-free and non-invasive, and is one of the most widely used forms of healthcare in Australia with over 300,000 visits per week nationally.

Our approach at NFC

Step 1 — Accurate assessment

We don't treat without understanding. Every new patient receives a thorough clinical history and physical examination including neurological, orthopaedic, and musculoskeletal testing. Where imaging is needed, we refer to local radiology clinics, most of which bulk-bill.

You'll leave your first appointment knowing exactly what's going on. No vague explanations, no unnecessary jargon.

Step 2 — Clear diagnosis and plan

Once we understand what we're dealing with, we explain our findings in plain language and outline a treatment plan specific to your condition and goals. We'll tell you how many sessions we expect you to need, what to expect at each stage, and what you can do outside the clinic to support your recovery.

Step 3 — Treatment

Treatment at NFC may include spinal and joint adjustment, soft tissue therapy, dry needling, and rehabilitation exercise prescription. We use a range of techniques and adapt our approach to what's appropriate for each patient from traditional manual adjustment to instrument-assisted techniques for those who prefer a lighter approach.

Step 4 — Rehabilitation and prevention

Getting out of pain is the beginning, not the end. We equip every patient with the knowledge, exercises, and strategies to maintain their results and reduce the risk of recurrence. For athletes, this includes load management advice and sport-specific rehabilitation. For everyone else, it means practical guidance on movement, posture, and how to keep your body working well long-term.

Is chiropractic safe?

Yes. Chiropractic is one of the most thoroughly researched and monitored healthcare disciplines in Australia. Our assessment process identifies any contraindications before treatment begins, and we adapt our techniques to ensure every patient's experience is safe and comfortable.

Any post-treatment soreness is typically mild and resolves within 24-48 hours similar to what you might feel after a good workout.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Do you take X-rays on-site?

A: No. If X-rays or other imaging are needed, we refer to local radiology clinics. Most referrals are bulk-billed and you can usually get scanned the same day.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: It depends on your condition, how long you've had it, and your goals. We'll give you a clear estimate at your first appointment. We don't use open-ended treatment plans.

Q: Is chiropractic covered by private health insurance?

A: Yes — chiropractic is claimable under most extras cover policies. Check with your fund for your specific entitlements.

Q: Do you treat children?

A: Yes. We see patients of all ages and adapt our approach for younger patients. Paediatric chiropractic care is safe and evidence-based.

Q: Which chiropractor will I see?

A: You're welcome to request a specific chiropractor when booking. All three of our chiropractors are experienced, fully registered, and committed to the same standard of care. If you have a specific condition or preference, we're happy to help match you with the best fit.

Q: Do I need a referral?

A: No referral needed. Book directly online or call 0414 316 261.
